VISION Building on its solid foundation of providing supplemental benefits to working families, it is with great pride that American Income Life serves its customers by building long-term relationships and providing coverage for times that are most difficult in life. American Income Life rejoices as it continues its “personal touch” tradition not often found in the insurance industry today – meeting with its patrons in the place they are most comfortable… their home. HISTORY With just US$25,000 of borrowed capital, Bernard Rapoport founded American Income Life more than 50 years ago. Mr. Rapoport encouraged our agency and founder of AIL of New Zealand Ltd. Managing Director Steve Friedlander to bring American Income Life to the beautiful country of New Zealand. Today, American Income Life has become one of the United States’ largest providers of supplemental life insurance to labour unions, credit unions, and associations. American Income Life provides coverage to over two million policyholders and represents over US$130 million in annual insurance product sales worldwide. American Income Life’s growth has been sustained through high customer satisfaction, innovative lead programs, word of mouth referrals, and one of the most lucrative Agent compensation programs in the industry.
