Single-guide swims
We are changing our approach to the Apolima Strait Swim to single-guide swims. A single fixed date doesn't work for most swimmers. Instead, we are being asked for alternative dates right through the year. We have individual bookings for July and August 2024. If you are looking to swim Apolima Strait in 2024, speak to us now. We are now also taking bookings for 2025.

Farewell swim of the tour saw us land at Ponui island. This is the traditional final swim of the Rotoroa retreats, a 2 km inter-island swim. Today, a solitary bovine saw us ashore.

Big day for everyone, swimmers and supporters. The second swim was a 2 km distance between Cable Bay and Ladies Bay. We swam in the shelter of the island and with current assistance for the last km. The group came together for Yoga flow at 5 followed by a delicious dinner and dessert. I t has been a full and fun day. Great to be back on Rotoroa. Pō mārie!

Mo'orea en Polynesia
​At the end of the day, the sun sets. We are invited to contemplate the mysteries of life, the passage of time, and our place within the vast tapestry of existence. One prevailing thought could be what a blessing it is to be here, on the balcony of the Cook's Bay Resort with this view of yachts against the backdrop of the setting sun.

This photograph was taken on the tour of 2018 at Cook's Bay. I remember it well. I walked a little to line up the setting sun behind the boat. Voila!

When in Tahiti, we stay at the Te Moana Resort in Puna'auia. The open layout of the big pool which flows easily to the lagoon and out to the open sea is indulgent for open water swimmers. We can also capture wonderful photographs like this from the foot bridge above the pool. Who needs a drone?

Rotoroa Island, Ocean Swim Club retreat
For the last three years, we have been blessed with staying on beautiful Rotoroa Island in the Hauraki Gulf of New Zealand. We are heading there this weekend for four nights and five days of swimming, nature, yoga with YogiFish, delicious food and good company. This retreat is for Ocean Swim Club members only.

Swim.Tours - Samoa Swim Series
Sāmoa - the start of it all in 2012 with the first Samoa Swim Series. In this clip, this is the third and final swim of the 2023 series which was held at Saoluafata Harbour, 20 km east of Apia. This magnificent deep-water harbour is perfect for open water swimming. SSS 2024 is coming up, 1-4 August and we're looking forward to welcoming many swimmers to Sāmoa for this year's ocean swim festival.
