Hi all,

It’s the time of year again where we all have to dig deep and volunteer at the club for a few hours.

We really need help with our Scandinavian Xmas market on November 3rd from 9:30am till 5pm. So please let me know on [email protected] if you can help. Ideally we are looking for people to help out in two hour shifts so please please let me know asap.

This market is a huge income generator for the club and with some big expenses coming up this is more important than ever.

Dear members,

Last year the Danish Society purchased two Automated External Defibrilators, one for Penrose and the other for Valhalla.
Now that we have these life saving devices at our premises is the time to get more confident in their use. St John have offered to provide training to anyone who would like to attend on Sunday 25th August at noon.
After the AED training you can have some fun playing Bingo.

Let’s go Denmark…….

Wednesday morning we are yet again ready at the Danish House where we will be showing the game between Denmark and Serbia. A draw could send us through to the next stage of the 2024 Euro’s so it’s a big game.

Hereby a reminder regarding the Skt Hans event at the Danish House in Penrose on Saturday 22nd of June 5.30pm onwards.

While booking with names is not required, we are keen to get an indication of how many we should roughly count on for catering purposes. So even if you are not 100% sure please flick us an RSVP email if you are likely to come. We want to make sure we have enough hotdogs 😉

Not quite the result we were after this morning (1-1) but luckily we only have to sleep 4 more times before we are at it again.

Denmark vs England this Friday June 21st at 4am. Everyone welcome and we will be ready with a light breakfast and coffee/tea
