Please, please tell any friends and family to only book with a real live NZ travel agent! The risks are just too high!

There are many, many itineraries suggested on SkyScanner and Google Flights which just can't actually be flown for all sorts of reasons! And if it all turns to custard you are up the proverbial creek, or at the very best in a 3 hours phone queue!

Day 3 flying on our Five Stars Air Safari saw us head east to the Maniototo and Lammermoor Station and distillery.

What an awesome day… the low cloud and drizzle cleared to allow us to land on their front paddock. A new experience for most. Great aviating Ants!

A lamb roast sammie and salad lunch and a few whisky and gin tastings and everyone was very happy!!

Our second day in the air on our Five Stars Air Safari was a bit of a mixed bag with four seasons in an one day at Stewart Island. But still an amazing experience and some stunning scenery in flight. We literally flew through a rainbow circle…special!!

Five Stars Air Safari and we’ve been to our Northern Star - Aoraki Mt Cook.

We had a bluebird day. We were all blown away by this awesome place with its big skies and spectacular mountains. Fresh icebergs off Tasman Glacier were a bit of a bonus!

It’s a good day on tour when even your Plan B takes you to Paradise!

We’re down here on our inaugural Five Stars Air Safari but the weather in Milford Sound refused to play ball. Luckily on this side of The Southern Alps was perfect for a road trip.

Our friends at stepped up and we instead headed to the top of Lake Wakatipu to Glenorchy, One Lane Bridge and Paradise! Not bad for a Plan B at all!

Our Milford Sound flight moves to our reserve day on Thursday!

Realising a dream!! I’ve long dreamt of operating a cruise to Great Barrier and Coromandel, and tonight’s the night. Me and 16 keen customers headed out of Auckland into a wobbly Hauraki Gulf. A stunning sunset and dessert at Tiritiri Matangi and now we’re heading to our anchorage at Kawau. More tomorrow …
