WARNING - SCAM ALERT INVOLVING BOOKING.COM

We have recently been made aware that our photos and description of our property, Edgewater Retreat, have been stolen from our Air BnB and/or Holiday Houses listing. This person has now used them to create their own listing on Booking.com.
WE ARE NOT LISTED WITH BOOKING.COM! Please be aware that apparently a lot of this is happening on Booking.com, their security measures for new listings are shocking and they seem to not be too bothered about the fact this is happening, hence why Edgewater Retreat is still showing on Booking.com. If you find a property on booking.com and it only has "external reviews", beware. Also, if the host, in this case he calls himself Ryan Dodd, requests for you to contact them directly on an email given....DON'T. Your booking will not be a legitimate booking, and you may find yourself out of pocket with no accommodation!

With Air BnB charging guests quite high fees we like to give our guests the option of booking through 'Holiday Houses' that do not charge a booking fee to the guest, however a bond will be required through this platform due to the lack of cover on Holiday Houses that we would normally get through Air BnB when hosting.
