Regent Seven Seas Cruises has offered a sneak peek at the first of its Prestige-class ships. The Seven Seas Prestige, set to join the fleet in 2026, will become Regent’s first new ship class in 10 years, and will feature new accommodation categories, including a reimagination of the palatial Regent Suite, along with new dining experiences.

“This is a truly historic moment for Regent Seven Seas Cruises, as we name the next ship to join The World’s Most Luxurious Fleet as Seven Seas Prestige and reveal her sleek exterior design,” says RSSC president Andrea DeMarco. “... This incredible new ship will be the epitome of timeless elegance, exemplifying Regent’s commitment to excellence which is reflected in every aspect of her elevated design and exuding an ambiance of sophistication and refinement.”

The 77,000 tonnes, 850-passenger ship will offer ‘one of the highest guest-to-space ratios in the cruise industry’ across suites and thoughtfully designed restaurants, bars and lounges and public areas. “Unrivalled Space at Sea is a key pillar for Regent and a primary desire for luxury travellers,” it adds.

Whale season has officially commenced in Niue after the first migratory Oceania humpback whales were spotted yesterday. During this time, pods of humpback arrive to calve and nurse their young in the sheltered sanctuary of Niue, often very close to the shoreline. In fact the noise of the whales blowing and calling each other can often be heard from the shore between the waves crashing on the reef, especially in the still of the night. Guests can watch the whales from viewing platforms on land, or on the water.

Norwegian Cruise Line has sailings that take in the some of the destinations that inspired the romantic drama, Bridgerton as the third season drops on Netflix.

The nine- to 14-day Europe voyages call into London (Tilbury) where guests can visit Greenwich where Rangers House, Greenwich Park Rose Garden, the Royal Naval College and the Queen's House are all used as Bridgerton filming locations.

On the 10- to 12-day British Isles cruises guests can visit Bath and the Royal Crescent where the Featherington family’s home is located. Guests can choose from a variety of embarkation ports when cruising to Europe with NCL including France, Italy, Denmark, Portugal and Sweden.
