Tasmania has been good to us.
Fantastic weather, awesome golf courses, and a welcoming heart.
Our final round of golf was brilliantly hosted by the Launceston Golf Club. Being established in 1899 they have had a long time to get it right, and they have.
As is fitting, the last round started with the obligatory tipple (thank you Mike and Ursh, you’ve started something!!), and ended with a toast and a laugh.
Thank you Tasmania, we all can’t wait to come back!

What a treat it was, playing The Lost Farm Golf Course at Barnbougle.
There is a reason why everyone talks about the Barnbougle golf courses. It is because they are stunning.
Today was no exception. No wind, blue skies, and along the back 9, the sound of waves breaking on the picturesque white sands of Bridport’s beaches, here in Tasmania.
There was even some good golf played.

Within 10 minutes of Tasmania’s Launceston town center is Riverside golf course, which hosted us today.
Launceston, what a beautiful spot in the world.
The sun was shining, golf was being played and all was good.

Yes, and ‘The Green Cap’ was getting around!

Another glorious day for golf in Tasmania. This time at the Royal Hobart Golf Club, 20 minutes from Hobart Central.
Royal Hobart is listed as Hobart's premier club course. Friendly, immaculate greens, generous fairways, and a good view of the players coming home while having a cooling drink.
And yes, the green cap got around too.

It’s not all golf in Tasmania. A short hop from Hobart took us to Port Arthur.
Another sunny Tassie day, and a day of insight into the lives of transported convicts. We were treated to fantastic landscapes and a stop off at a 201-year-old bridge, still in full use today.

Tasmania Golf Club on the outskirts of Hobart hosted us today. Yet another perfect weather day to be out playing golf!
Great views from all over the course.

We have moved again, this time up to the north of Argentina, to Salta and then down to Cafayate through an incredible gorge to play our final round of golf on this tour. The last round always seems to change the leaderboard!

Moving on down to Bariloche on our golf tour, we settled into the lovely Llao Llao hotel and enjoyed its wonderful course, plus the Arelauquen parkland course. This area is magnificent and well worth visiting.

We were privileged to play the Greg Norman course, El Desafio, opened just for us to experience. A breathtaking course and once the second nine is completed, it will be a real drawcard for San Martin. Needless to say, we all came off with smiles on our faces!

What a course Chapelco is, here in Patagonia. A Jack Nicholas design that follows the contours of the land, with every hole having great vistas and a pleasure to play.

There’s lots to do in and around Cairns and Port Douglas. The day excursion on our tour will take the Karunda Sky Rail over the rainforest, time to explore the markets at Karunda, then enjoy a scenic train journey back to Cairns.

You are guaranteed to see Kangaroos on this course. They have over 300 that come out each day around 4pm and lay around the 10th fairway!

The Mirage course at Port Douglas plays the front nine on the ocean side with great views and the back nine looking up at the Kuranda ranges.
