Showcasing this retro spa deserved a final viewing 🚨🛁 it really did have had more leaks than that gossip column 🤪

Transformation starts with a vision of possibility. This space got us 💭thinking right outside of the box 📦.

We had to say farewell to this broken spa beige + peach tiled spa, leaking cracked pipes, rotting floorboards, 🐀chewed wiring, wonky wall & ceiling linings recycling what we could.

We removed walls that were there, put up some that weren’t and stylishly integrated a secret door that we’ve smuggled into sustainable wood panelling off the adjacent room ❤️

This 1970’s internal spa & bar has been transformed to an en-suite Master with a walk in wardrobe 🎉.

That’s a first 🤣 🐶☕️

Taking a break from the 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️building site to meet with applicants for the various roles available at Chic Retreats from February 2025.

🐾 & Lola Grace 🐾 had the best surprise - the lovely introduced them to their first Puppyccino 🍦- whipped cream with to dress up the puppy treats 😍 they fully indulged 😋🐶

Thank you Theo - .cafe is officially their favourite hang out😍 (fortunately it’s up there as our fave too)

🏞️ Having moved 4 tonnes of overgrowth from the site - 🧱ground preparations for our future Zen retreat space are in action, where original rock boulders 🪨 aren’t just preserved; they’re the stars of the show 🌟

We’re transforming the landscape, keeping the majestic rock boulders to anchor our connection to the energy here.

✨Every move is intentional, building tranquility one boulder at a time 🪨

Follow our progress as we carefully sculpt our outdoor sanctuary, where every element is intentionally placed to inspire peace, reflection & connection.

On our latest site visit to check progress on our Redwoods Oasis development - we had to immerse ourselves amidst favourite Whakarewarewa Forest, Rotorua to meet Ruru - absolutely stunning addition to this enchanted arena of nature 💚💚
