✈️ Traveling to and from Northland for work, family or an upcoming holiday? Check this out 👇

We operate over 40 flights to and from Northland each week, heading to and from both Kaitaia Airport and Kerikeri’s Bay of Islands Airport to Auckland Airport.

Here’s some important information to keep in mind if you’re travelling with us:

🧳 Baggage:
Every fare includes a carry-on baggage allowance of 7kg
Each Premium and Economy ticket includes 23kg checked-in baggage when travelling to and from Kaitaia and Kerikeri - excess baggage fees are applicable
Excess baggage beyond your free allowance will be subject to space availability on the day of travel and will incur additional charges. In some cases, we may not be able to accept excess baggage
Infants travelling free of charge do not have a luggage allowance.

👶 Infants:
Barrier Air considers children aged 0–23 months as infants. There is no charge for the carriage of infants onboard Barrier Air flights.
An infant travelling free of charge does not have a baggage allowance
We provide infant lap belts, and the baby must sit on your lap for the flight
Please advise us at the time of booking if you have an infant travelling with you.

🧒 Unaccompanied Minors:
Children aged 5 to 12 years old travelling without an adult 16 years or older are considered “unaccompanied minors”
Any child under the age of 5 years old must travel with an adult 16 years or older
Please ensure that before checking in, that the Unaccompanied Minor Form (available on our website) is completed.
