Our Library

The Piha Library has been operating since 1959, providing a library service to the people of Piha, Karekare and Anawhata.

The Piha Community Library is an independent library, run by volunteers and a part-time manager, to serve the Piha, Karekare and Anawhata residents, on the wild West Coast of Auckland, New Zealand. It is run by a registered charitable trust, the ‘Piha Community Library Trust’, and staffed by volunteers and part time paid manager. Situated at 19 Seaview Rd, next to the Campground in the heart of Pi

ha Village. Our Intention

At the Piha Community Library our aims are:

To provide an excellent volunteer community library service. To be responsive and relevant. To match our collection to the requirements of our community.
