♦️ Western Empire has delivered again, winning the A$1.5 million Gr.3 Gold Rush.

Born here on the farm in 2017 for breeder Peters Investments, Western Empire has now won in excess of A$2.7 million in prizemoney with 10 wins from a 28-start career.

The Grant and Alana Williams-trained Western Empire (NZ) (Iffraaj) has powered to victory in the A$1.5 million Gr.3 Gold Rush (1400m) at Ascot in Perth on Saturday.

Bred in New Zealand by Peters Investments, Western Empire is by former Haunui Farm shuttle stallion Iffraaj and is out of Gr.2 Perth Cup (2400m) winner Western Jewel.

The gelding has now won in excess of A$2.7 million in prizemoney with 10 wins from a 28-start career.

💥Fresh up and in winning form... Belegato cleared maiden ranks at the Sunshine Coast Jockey Club on Friday night.

Bred by David Paykel the son of BELARDO was purchased as a yearling out of our 2023 New Zealand Bloodstock Book 2 draft by Bloodstock Solutions for $60,000.

🥳It's a winning week with plenty to celebrate....

🐴 The Marsh Racing trained Bellarista cleared maiden ranks in style at Te Aroha on Wednesday.
🐴 On Thursday Ballymore Stables revealed a possible Karaka Million contender in Romanoff who did a bit wrong but still got up to score at Ōtaki-Māori Racing Club on Thursday. Adding to the thrill was fellow Haunui grad Curzon Park coming home runner up.

A tilt at the $1 million TAB Karaka Millions 2YO (1200m) at Ellerslie in January is on the cards for promising juvenile Romanoff following his maiden victory in the Uza Bus Two-Year-Old (1100m) at Otaki on Thursday.

💙 Sting in the Tail takes out race one, Gold Mdn Hcp over 1500m at Hawkesbury Race Club Limited this afternoon.

The four year old mare by Savabeel was fresh up today after a 269 day spell. She was purchased out of Haunui Farm 2022 Book 1 Karaka draft. A peach of a ride by Lee Magorrian and great training effort by Chris Waller Racing.

Congratulations to Barneswood Farm Ltd and Kingsclere Stables with RIBCHESTER 3yo Osteria getting a well deserved maiden win.

He has finished in the top four of each of his five career starts so nice to see him salute today at Pukekohe 👏👏

🧡 George Rooke gets the job done in R4 with Osteria winning by two lengths to break his maiden. The pair take out the Rich Hill Stud Mdn 3yo over 1200m at Pukekohe Park this afternoon.

The three year old gelding by Ribchester was bred and owned by Barneswood Farm and records his first win today from five starts. Congratulations to Sarah and the team from Barneswood Farm and a big thanks to George Rooke for the winning ride.
