FREE FLUFFY for little roamies 🙌 This cafe has just opened (was previously just for private hire and events) and I’m sure it’s going to become a favourite with locals! The garden area is so beautiful and there were lots of lawn games that kept our kids entertained for ages. They also have a dedicated kids menu, colouring, and a change table. Plus if you have the Roam With Kids app, you can get a free fluffy with any hot drink! Just show the offer in the app to redeem 👌 📍 Totara Park Cafe There’s also a bunch of walking tracks, two playgrounds (I didn’t rate the second one, but the treehouse one was very cool), and I reckon the swimming pool will be great in summer! Spend a day with us in South Auckland 🙌 We stumbled across TWO free events on today (thanks @aklcouncil ) and had such an awesome morning, then hit up one of our favourite South Auckland spots - @riseandshinenz ! Have you ever been to a pocket park before?! It’s pretty simple, but so nice having a play space in the Auckland CBD! You can also get the free boat over to the Wynyard Quarter and walk down to Silo Park for another playground. 📍Hobson Wharf Pocket Park What other central Auckland spots do you love? FREE ACTIVITY FOR UNDER 5s 💛 📍Grey Lynn Paddling Pool, Auckland This is one of my favourite free activities to do with kids in Auckland! They have toilets, lifeguards, and they even had pool toys when we’ve been there! There’s also a great toddler playground right next to it, lots of shady trees, and a great pump track for older kids at the other end of the park. It’s reopening for summer this weekend (7th Dec), but make sure to check the council website for closures before you go. #auckland #freeactivities #parenting

EAST AUCKLAND CAFE This wasn’t our favourite spot, but it does have a fully fenced kids play area and a play house. It’s also pram friendly (just have to go around to the ramp entrance), and we always love having a wander around garden centres and looking at all the plants. EAST AUCKLAND INDOOR ACTIVITY for kids who love to climb 👌 📍Extreme Edge, Panmure It’s kind of like clip and climb but WAY bigger and the adult climbing area is huge. There’s also an indoor playground which is like a bunch of tree huts and tunnels, as well as some big slides. CHILD FRIENDLY WALK! This might be the best short walk to do with kids in Auckland. It’s a 20 minute loop walk, with so many painted rocks to find along the way. It’s totally pram friendly, and has a playground across the road (Xena Park). There’s no toilets but there are picnic tables, benches the whole way around, and parking is super easy. I don’t normally give places ratings, but 10/10 would recommend this to anyone with little kids! 📍Lake Panorama, Henderson Have you done this walk before?
