• Regenerative Ecological Design

* Regenerative Ecological Design:
Regenerative Natural Gardens focus on regenerative ecological design, that provides design solutions, rooted in natural processes and natural aesthetic qualities. The approach to design is to work with the latent potentials of the site; to work with nature and harness its regenerative power to restore, renew and to revitalise. By doing this, I believe that my designs are not only more resilient towards future unknowns, but also more suited to enriching our human experience, well-being and health within the integrity of nature.

I am a consultant specialising in ecological landscape architecture, water conservation, endemic plant propagation, and biodiversity in residential, commercial or conservation areas. Under the umbrella theme of resilience, I interested in water wise development and design in urban and rural areas. As part of my drive towards building and improving the biodiversity of the natural environment, I also propagate indigenous New Zealand plants and seedlings . I look forward to regenerating your landscape into something that nature would have designed. Planning with Nature focus on where the potential of your developments, urban planning proposals or environmental and ecosystem policies for regenerative planning and development, in the context of resilience are identified. This is done by understanding the vulnerabilities in the system and assessing the lack of or presence of the principles of resilience in order to direct future planning for resilience and eventually sustainable development.

At Balanced Forestry, we recognise that bigger isn’t always better - especially when it comes to native planting! Here’s how we’re revolutionising the game, delivering better results at lower cost:

🌱 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆-𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀: Don't overpay for larger plants. We’ve pinpointed species that thrive when established at a “forestry-grade” size. These smaller, nursery-grown plants are less costly, easier to transport, and quicker to plant than typical PB plastic bags.

🌱 𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆: Our forestry-grade plants are cultivated at scale, resulting in lower prices compared to larger alternatives.

🌱 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: Our plants are the same size and those used in production forests. Planting crews can get them in the ground faster, minimising cost and damage to root systems.

🌱 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴: We deliver plants in cardboard forestry boxes, not trays, ensuring quick movement to the right spots and minimising transport costs.

🌱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀: Our decade of experience (and 5+ million plants sold), shows that forestry-grade plants survive transplantation better, avoid root-binding, and grow with vigour.

Contact us today to talk about your specific needs. We are confident that you'll be impressed with our prices and our customer service.

Introducing the "Flower of Patience," a rare botanical marvel that blooms only once every seven years. Its petals open for just seven days before fading away, making each bloom a highly anticipated and awe-inspiring event.

This flower's brief and rare appearance symbolizes resilience and endurance, capturing the attention of botanists, nature lovers, and curious onlookers. The Flower of Patience reminds us of the delicate balance between patience, perseverance, and the fleeting nature of life.
