Not bad for his first time fishing. Kongja and his 4 mates booked a trip for a joint 40th celebration and he had never put a line in the water. It was only fitting whilst filleting the snapper in the bin that his line took off, after about 15 minutes of gaining line on the reel and then losing it again, the kingfish finally surfaced. Well done Kongja, hopefully see you next time 👍🏽

Jason and Jeff both landed their PB snapper on Fridays charter. An epic session where plenty of big snapper were caught and the big breeding fish were quickly released in good condition

On Wednesday the weather and tides aligned to take local lads Roger, Matt and Jimmy on a deep drop mission.
Jimmy and Matt’s first drop resulted in a double hookup of 2 respectable Bluenose.
While the bite was hot they got their baits back down and managed a few more good fish over the next few hours.
Matt ended up landing the fish of the day which was a big Hapuka. After a few high fives the guys got straight back into it.
With 7 Bluenose and 2 Hapuka in the bin, we decided to call it a day and make the trek back to Waiheke.
Awesome day on the water with good company, cheers guys 🤙🏽

After 5 weeks holiday in Europe we are finally back out on the water. Here’s a few more fish from the summer season. Looking forward to creating more memories for our customers (still got a bunch more pics to follow)

With summer coming to an end, we’ve had an epic season. Some really good fish caught and lots of the bigger fish released.

We have had a busy summer of fishing and haven’t had time to post many photos! Here are a few from the last couple of months.
First lot of photos is of Mike with 3 nice kingies he caught on a 6 hour charter!
We were also managed to avoid getting sharked 90% of the time this summer too. As you can see in one of the photos long time local Pat Garrett was unlucky with the tax man taking half his catch.

We had the most incredible dinner prepared and delivered by ! I don’t know what was better, the Scampi cerviche, grilled Crayfish or angus beef fillets! Plus the beautiful bread, garden salad, potatoes and dressings ! And to top it off with a garden plum frangipane tart with sorbet! All while enjoying a glass of the Dreadnought wine!

Highly recommend ! Private chef at your door!!
