Tarawera Ultra-Trail is New Zealand's Premier Ultra-Trail running event, held in Rotorua, New Zealand. Trail running distances include 100 Miler, 102km, 50km and 21km options. The event is part of the UTMB World Series.

Huge congratulations to Garth Barfoot on his award for being the oldest finisher (88 years) TCS New York City Marathon 2024. And thanks to Allison Roe (winnner of both Boston and NYC marathons in 1981). What an honour to be present at the unveiling of the award sent to Garth from Tiffany & Co. Never too old.

Garth Barfoot completes the TCS NYC Marathon as the oldest participant in 2024 - in 11:23:49, with his daughter Kiri and friend Lay Cunningham. Listen to the RNZ interview in link below. Huge congratulations to the Garth and his wonderful support team.

It defeated him in 2023 - but octogenarian Garth Barfoot was determined to finish this year's New York marathon.
