Today, the New Zealand Government announced the next steps to enable a safe reopening of our border in 2022 without staying in MIQ;
 
- January 16, 2022: fully vaccinated New Zealanders can travel from Australia with a self isolation period of 7 days.

- February 13, 2022: fully vaccinated New Zealanders will be able to travel from all but very high risk countries with a self isolation period of 7 days.

- April 30, 2022: Opening to fully vaccinated foreign nationals (possibly staged by visa category) with a self isolation period of 7 days.

As Kiwis, we are lucky to have a plethora of amazing regions to explore in our backyard. One of our beloved regions is Marlborough, known for its extensive and intricate network of waterways and for being the countries largest wine region. At the top of our ‘must visit’ list includes a visit to Cloudy Bay Winery for a bespoke food and wine experience. You haven’t truly seen the Sounds unless you’ve experienced it by water and we love Tarquin Luxury cruises who can host for a few hours, or even overnight in one of their 3 cabins.
