Really feel for the team, it’s been extremely stressful over the last while! Bring on Easter!
Um… so what do people usually do at New Years if not gigging?

Right. Finally. Thank you for all of your patience while we navigate through some uncharted territory. But we can finally announce some sad, yet expected news, while also revealing some exciting plans for the future.

The sad news is Rhythm and Vines will not be going ahead this New Year due to the COVID Protection Framework settings being at RED for the Gisborne region. Details around refunds are provided below.

An incredibly stressful time for everyone involved, however, pressure makes diamonds, and our team are determined to turn this into a positive. With that said, we are proud to announce New Zealand’s newest Easter music festival - R&V EASTER 2022.

Friday, April 15 2022 - Sunday, April 17 2022
4 Nights Camping from Thursday, 14 April 2022

💎 While we are sad that we won't be spending the New Year together, we are pumped about the possibilities of this new adventure we are about to embark on. We are already having some exciting discussions with touring talent around this period and are confident Gisborne will be ready by April to embrace tourism once again to the region. Expect some announcements regarding the lineup for Easter in the coming weeks.

💎 To the future generation of young Kiwis who did your part in getting vaccinated in the hope of getting together after one tough year. While we won't get to tell you we love you on "I Love You Bro" hill this year, we hope to see you in Gisborne for R&V EASTER 2022 and/or for RHYTHM AND VINES 2022 - our 20th Anniversary. We thank you for your continued support and patience while we work through this. Atleast we won’t get to f💎ck up the countdown video in front of 23,000 this year. 😷

💎 This has certainly been a gruelling few months for the thousands of staff and crew that work in the events industry. To our beautiful team of world class event professionals, who right up until this morning, were continuing to build the dream. Thank you. R&V isn't built overnight, however, each and everyone of our team believed it could be and were prepared to do what it takes to make this year happen. To those who can, hope you can enjoy some time off (maybe enjoy someone else’s festival?), and look forward to assembling the dream team back together again for Easter.

So there it is. Ultimately, probably not the news a lot of us wanted to hear. When the time is right, we can all be together again on the hills of Waiohika Estate. Kindness goes a long way in these trying times, so look after each other. Have a safe New Year and see you in Easter.

All R&V2021 tickets remain valid for the new dates.

REFUND INFORMATION
Rhythm and Vines are offering a 2 week refund window, closing on December 16 2021 5pm.

TICKETS PURCHASED VIA MOSHTIX
Should you not be able to attend R&V EASTER 2022, you have the option to request a refund prior to 5:00PM NZT, 16th December 2021 by logging into your Moshtix Account and following these steps.

If you have purchased Bookatent package within Bass, Rhythm or Meadow Camp, please note your whole order will need to be placed for a refund in order for the refund to be actioned. The refund is actioned via your Moshtix account as above.

PACKAGES PURCHASED VIA RHYTHMANDVINES.CO.NZ/PACKAGES
Should you not be able to attend R&V EASTER 2022, you can request a refund via logging on to your Booking Portal by December 16 2021 5pm. If you are having troubles finding your booking portal, email [email protected]

Please allow 7 days for our teams to confirm your Hotel or Motel package with the various accommodation providers. We will do our best to secure your bookings for the new dates, however, alternative options may need to be offered if your rooms are no longer available for the new dates. We thank you for your understanding.

NO TRANSFERS TO RHYTHM AND VINES 2022
There will be no option to transfer your tickets over to RHYTHM AND VINES 2022. Presale tickets for Rhythm and Vines 2022 will likely be released after R&V EASTER 2022 event.

SINGLE DAY PASSES
Single Day tickets transfer over as follows:
December 29 Single Day Passes > Friday, April 15
December 30 Single Day Passes > Saturday, April 16
December 31 Single Day Passes > Sunday, April 17

HOUSES
For those lucky enough to secure houses for R&V2021. Please give us a few days while we work with our homeowners in rescheduling your booking to the new dates. If your house is no longer available, we will do our best to find a suitable replacement.

Important Information around Vaccinations at Rhythm and Vines

We wish to acknowledge today’s announcement around the government's intention to mandate vaccination certificates or passports to access large scale events. While this is a positive development towards allowing Rhythm and Vines festival to go ahead, we are still awaiting official information from the government on how exactly this will be facilitated in the festival environment.

However, it is evidently clear, if you wish to attend Rhythm and Vines at the end of the year, you will need to get yourself vaccinated. Don’t delay and run the risk of missing out, book an appointment now: https://bookmyvaccine.nz/

They carefully considered the sound of the waves, transport, guest access along with the potential impact of the weather when selecting the perfect place to get married. 💍

Rangihau Valley Homestead is a beautiful private Coromandel residence near Coroglen.

It boasts a number of features including a large Kauri homestead with surround verandah, mature tree lined lawns and gardens, sprawling pasture with a river boundary, including a private river pool set in lush native bush alongside the Coromandel State Park.

There is no noise or light pollution, giving you beautiful star lit evenings and no worry with the noise your party or music will make. You can use part or all the property for you special day and we can suggest any local suppliers for shuttle services from either Whitianga or Tairua.

The two large lawn areas offer you the chance to erect a marquee, set up a dance floor, bring in mobile caterers and set up festoon lights through the beautiful cherry trees. Ample room for parking and a large turning bay allow for easy access for shuttles.

There is also the option to rent the Coro Camping luxury eco camping site on the property for your honeymoon.

From December 2021 there will be a daily direct flight available from Auckland Airport to Whitianga Airport making it an easy 25min drive to the property.
