As we welcome in the New Year, we want to say a special thank you to those families and residents in Templeton who attended the Templeton Xmas Family Day in December 2021!

New Zealand Charters hosted their first annual Christmas event. This event brought the community together for a day of fun in the sun and gave those attending, the opportunity to take a scenic helicopter flight over Templeton thanks to the GCH Aviation Team.

It was a day of Helicopter rides, Music, Sausage Sizzles and raising awareness to those less fortunate during the holiday season.

New Zealand Charters raised over $700 in gold coin donations and over 40 presents going towards Foster for Hope, Women's refuge and Salvation Army.

Volcanic activity 45 million years ago formed Banks Peninsula, and the two largest eruptions formed Lyttelton and Akaroa Harbours. The result of this activity has left us with some of the most spectacular and dynamic harbors in New Zealand. Quail Island is the largest of three small islands in Lyttelton Harbour and rich in history. On this day trip, we explore Lyttelton Harbour and Quail Island.

The Hammer Head Shark Experience - Scuba Diving Charter
Dive with Hammer Head Sharks, as they migrate through our waters.

Right on Auckland’s doorstep lies the Hauraki Gulf, known throughout the world as a boating paradise. For many divers, this area has a certain mystique. many have heard of it have heard of it, but few seem to know where it is or have actually dived it. Known for its Hammerhead experience, huge crayfish, and huge kingfish, these dive sites are not to be missed. Horn Rock is actually a large area of rough ground between Little Barrier and Great Barrier. Only one small rock breaks the surface; the rest of the site lies between 10 and 20 meters, dropping off the edges to over 40 meters.

New Zealand Diving run charters throughout January to March to offer divers the opportunity to encounter Hammerheads. Divers are recommended to book early as spaces are limited.

Included in the price is all rental equipment and 2 dives from our boat.
