Autumn has to be one of our favourite times of year. As soon as the grapes are harvested the vineyards start turning into a blanket of autumn colours, making for some pretty epic views over Marlborough 🍂

Love how the vineyard nets change the view again from The Nineteenth. Used to protect the ripening fruit from the birds, the nets will be taken off again soon so that the grapes can be harvested. Before too long the vines will then begin to shut down for winter, resulting in a blanket of autumn colours across the district - one of our favourite times of year 🍂

We have two king sized bedrooms at The Nineteenth, each with their own unique view.
The northern bedroom looks out over Marlborough Golf Course, surrounding farmland and if you are lucky, you can see Wellington on a good day. The southern bedroom boasts vineyard views for miles.

Only a couple more weeks and these vineyards will be bursting with activity with the grape harvest in full swing. An exciting time to be in region witnessing the annual harvest in action.
We may be fully booked for the next couple of months but May through to July still has availability if you are planning a getaway weekend or midweek escape.

We are thrilled that the New Zealand Government today has announced that our border will be opening to vaccinated overseas Kiwis in the new year, and from the 30th of April 2022, to all vaccinated travellers from anywhere in the world.
