Blenheim School is a caring community of learners where all achievement is recognised and celebrated. We provide Marlborough families with high quality learning experiences that caters for students with diverse needs. We believe in fos

tering a secure, caring child centred environment where older students work along side and support younger students. Our vision is to provide student's with“GRIT” Growth as a Learner, Respect, Initiative and Tenacity. Our students are happy, enthusiastic and motivated to learn. Blenheim School staff are a competent, nurturing professional team who want the best possible outcomes for each individual in their care. Blenheim School was established in 1859 and has 2nd, 3rd and 4th generation pupils on it’s roll. Many of the current pupils older siblings have already had their primary education at Blenheim School. In 2009 Blenheim School Celebrated it’s 150 year Jubilee. The school has become a ‘Registered Place” through the Historical Places Trust in 2010. Historically Blenheim School pupils have come from the surrounding areas, ie Riversdale, Farnham, Dillions Point and from all areas of Blenheim. Blenheim School has much to offer your child. We have attractive classrooms that display student work and achievements. A spacious library with an increasing collection of up to date books. A swimming pool which enables teachers to teach swimming to all students. Our edible garden is proudly displayed in the spacious playground allowing students to wander through and freely taste vegetables. Our involvement in the Enviroschools programme means the students learn lifelong skills. We believe in providing children with as many learning experiences as we can. We use local resources like the Marlborough Library, Art Gallery, Stadium 2000, Seymour Square and the ASB theatre regularly. Children have opportunities to participate in music, drama, art and a range of sports. We also have comprehensive special needs and abilities programme to cater for diverse needs. Parents of prospective students are most welcome to visit the school and see the teaching and learning in action. Our school website will provide you with some important information about our school. Forever grateful for the never-ending support we receive from our amazing community - Carmen and the crew at Tautoko Community Trust always going the extra mile to support the learning and wellbeing of our tamariki and our whānau!

What a tūmeke start we have had to the term! Whānau...you have been working your magic over the break and we are definitely reaping the benefits of having cool, calm, and caring kiddos showing up to school...and on top of that - first day attendance - 97% at school...woop! Let's keep that going!!

Welcome back to Blenheim School for 2025.

Thank you to everyone who came in and met with us today. It was great to see you, to reconnect after the holidays, and to check that everyone is ready for school tomorrow.

A couple of important reminders for this week:
Tuesday and Wednesday - School Open
Thursday 6 February - Waitangi Day - School Closed
Friday 7 February - School Open as normal

The weather is certainly warming up, so please help your child to remember their swimming gear and drink bottle (water only please)

Important Information for Term 1:

**Office Open for Enrolments and Uniform Sales**
Thursday 30th January 10am - 3pm
Friday 31st January 10am - 3pm

**Kanohi ki te Kanohi - Meet the Teacher**
Monday 3rd February 8am - 5pm
Bookings will open this Wednesday for you to make a time to meet with your child's teacher. We have a couple of ways for you to book in:
1.) Add the Skool Loop App to your phone and book in via the "Bookings" Button
2.) Message the Blenheim School Page privately on Facebook with your child's name, teacher's name, and a couple of times that will work for you
3.) Pop in to see Bron on Thursday 30 January or Friday 31 January and she will book you in
**Mrs Caughey and Miss Ellis will also be available for you to book in with, as well as your own classroom teacher**
