We have attractive classrooms that display student work and achievements. A spacious library with an increasing collection of up to date books. A swimming pool which enables teachers to teach swimming to all students. Our edible garden is proudly displayed in the spacious playground allowing students to wander through and freely taste vegetables. Our involvement in the Enviroschools programme means the students learn lifelong skills. We believe in providing children with as many learning experiences as we can. We use local resources like the Marlborough Library, Art Gallery, Stadium 2000, Seymour Square and the ASB theatre regularly. Children have opportunities to participate in music, drama, art and a range of sports. We also have comprehensive special needs and abilities programme to cater for diverse needs. Parents of prospective students are most welcome to visit the school and see the teaching and learning in action. Our school website will provide you with some important information about our school. Today was Tumeke Tumuaki day!
A day to celebrate our very own Mrs Thorstensen! She can build playgrounds, she can paint, she can make us feel happy when we are sad, and she can put us on the right track...it we start to wander!
Everyone appreciates the dedication, the love and the hours of hard work Mrs Thorstensen puts into Blenheim School. Mrs Thorstensen has been spoilt today with lots of letters, drawings, cards and morning tea, here she is in Rito being presented with a beautiful picture, and being read letters from students they have written to her!❤️

Hey everyone, we hope the school holidays have started off well for your tamariki.

Check out the competition below for your creative babes…let’s be honest, the house won’t be as tidy as it usually is during the school term, so why not let the kids go wild and create the coolest mini house with bits and pieces from around home 😇

Good Luck!
