Cellar doors and wineries are open and ready to greet you this Summer 🌞

Wine tastings and tours are more than just savoring our exquisite wines. They're an immersive journey into the rich history of winemaking, the art of viticulture, and the unique sub-regions that shape each of our distinct varietals.

Captured is a vineyard in the southern valleys Sub-region. With clay-rich soils, the Southern Valleys sub-region produces Pinot Noir fruit with concentrated flavours and supple tannins 🍷 This sub-region sits inland, away from the coast and its cooler evenings during the ripening period, help retain red berry flavours and balanced acidity in the wine.

We invite you to come taste and learn more about the magic behind Marlborough wine 🍷

How about a roadie? Explore Port Underwood Road this summer. This road is a rugged half loop that connects Rarangi at the north end of Te Koko-o-Kupe/Cloudy Bay to Whanganui/Port Underwood, then to Picton in Queen Charlotte Sound / Totaranui.

Pick one of the many stunning bays to set up a picnic and relax for the arvo, or even go camping at the likes of Puakatea/Whites Bay, Robin Hood Bay or Whatamango Bay. There are multiple walking tracks nearby as well as gorgeous lookout points to get those gram worthy shots 📸

23 lighthouses in NZ, and this is just one of ours - Cape Campbell Lighthouse ✨

You can walk the Cape Campbell track right up to to this striking icon. An unmarked route follows the beach from the eastern end of the Marfells Beach camping area around to Cape Campbell, the southernmost extreme of Cook Strait.

Cape Campbell holds a unique assemblage of species on it's shores. Fur seals use the beaches and headlands for pupping and basking. Many sea birds have nesting colonies on the cape and it is a known migration route. With the ease of access, it is important to protect this landscape and wildlife and remember the Tiaki Promise.
