As we move into autumn and get closer to the grape harvest while also dealing with a large Omicron outbreak in the country things are changing. Wineries are doing their best to protect their staff from Omicron and make sure they are able to continue working during this time. To that end many have closed their cellar doors until the grapes are in or Easter (other are managing to keep the cellar door staff and production staff completely separate).

Cellar Doors still open, with varying times are:
• Whitehaven
• Gibson Bridge
• Hans Herzog
• St Clair
• Wither Hills
• The Gin Bar
• Wairau River Wines
• Nautilus
• Hunters
• Moa Beer Garden

Restaurants that are still open, also varying times, are:
• Wither Hills
• Wairau River
• St Clair
• The Vines Village Café
• Boom Town Beer Garden
• The Wine Kitchen (at Rock Ferry)

Monday and Tuesday are the days with fewest open, so we are talking all bookings for those days via phone (027 758 1002), Wednesday-Sunday can be booked via website or by phone if you'd like to discuss with us who is open.

We appreciate everyone who has come and hired a bike from us recently, we are doing everything we can to keep you safe.

Framingham Wines have a lovely garden at their cellar door with beanbags to sit and relax on while you enjoy your wine and a fun scooter if you want to try a different bike! They'll even bring tastings out to you.

A short ride down Rapaura Road from our home base is Hunter's Wines, they have a lovely entry through some older vines, and an inside and outside restaurant as well as tasting. Make sure to add them to your ride!
