This home is being built on pea gravel which has no binding in the soil to provide stability, engineering requirements are needed for placing the piles
Drums were put in the ground, piles placed and braced and filled with concrete

The original home on site sat low to the ground, the new home on the same site is having the floor raised to make the most of missed views.
The site is on pea gravel (fine round stones) and when a hole is dug it caves in making the job of placing/concreting piles difficult
Keep an eye on our page for updates on how the piles were placed
