Escape the house and experience a part of the Queen Charlotte Track this Spring. With all sections open you can now get out and explore the whole track. Don't forget your good boots and maybe a spare pair of footwear, as the track is still under repair. To find out more information on the tracks condition please head to doc.govt.nz 🥾🌴

Please note that access via the Kenepuru Road and the DOC campsites on that side of the ridge are still closed.

Opening Hours: 10 AM to 4 PM Monday-Friday and

You can now book your Bluebridge journey for next Christmas and summer with bookings open right up until the end of March 2022! Ferries are really busy and vehicle space is in hot demand. So book early to secure your preferred sailing and if you need to, you can change it for FREE right up to 1hr before you go as long as it's within 12mo's of your original travel date.

Brilliant to hear that the Coastal Pacific will now run over Winter on Saturdays and Sundays!

We're so glad to finally be able to announce that winter fares are now available to purchase for The Great Journeys of New Zealand!

From May 3 until October 17, Northern Explorer will run on its usual timetable while TranzAlpine will run Thursdays and Fridays. Also, Coastal Pacific will now run over Winter on Saturdays and Sundays!

After listening to your much-appreciated feedback, we're hibernating Scenic Plus for winter to bring it back even better than before.

We also want to remind everyone that The Great Journeys of New Zealand services can only run when the country is at alert level 1. If there is a cancellation directly as a result of COVID 19 restrictions our policy is to offer those affected a transfer to an alternative date, a credit for 12 months, or a full refund regardless of fare-type purchased.
