Did you know, alpacas have been exported from New Zealand to Europe since about 2007?

They can now be found in Scandinavia, Switzerland, Austria, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Italy, England, France, Bulgaria, Spain and there have also been exports to Japan and Taiwan. 🌍🦙💙

Our mission here at Silverstream is to produce, soft, well-nourished, high quality fleeces that are uniform in micron, length and colour. 🦙

By restricting our alpaca colour range to manly white and light fawn, we can produce commercial quantities of white and light fine fibre.

Visitors to our farm are often shocked by just how soft our alpaca fleece is - especially in comparison to sheep and lambs wool!
