Fun day, at musical theatre learning and trying new things. We did the first run through of new scripts for the 2025 performance. Started on some challenging dance sequences/movements and left the hall a little tired.
Great focus from everyone 🙂

Today at singing - we continued with our breathing exercises, but also started our new rhythm/movement exercises too. With some new songs and some solo singing on mics we had a busy, busy singing session.

Some fabulous bowling today - plus our delicious lunch at our cafe too.

Yesterday was a brilliant day out -we did 2 walks at reserves. Neat to see one with a popping wee lake (similiar to Rotorua). Great swim at Dudley Pool too - lots of fun!

Singing yesterday - was lots of fun and high energy by all!
Plus it was Pauline’s birthday on Sunday - so we all did a birthday song for her too 🙂

Today we hit the Rolleston Warehouse for some shopping.
Afterwards, it was off to Coes Ford & Chamberlain Ford for a lovely picnic lunch. The river wasn’t too cold, with a paddle for some and a nice refreshing swim for others. Great day out - we all enjoyed both camping spots, with talk of Able Tours going camping ? (Without a shower Georgia, how would you ever cope)!

Today we headed out, up to North Canterbury - Gore Bay, Cheviot & Motunau beach. What a wonderful day we all had, being out and about exploring some beautiful, peaceful locations. Noticed a few baches up for sale too - ( have my eye on one lol) - need to win lotto first!

Today it was lunch at Kaiapoi Club and off to take a wee look at kite day in New Brighton. We headed to the Palms to watch Paddington Bear in Peru - great movie too!

Singing today!
Today we had a lovely visitor, called Ann - who popped along to see what we do at singing rehearsals 🙂
I do hope you enjoyed hearing Linda (your sister in law) sing, and all of my amazing, talented, clients perform today.
Sorry no time for pics - we were far too busy singing so many fabulous songs !

What a wonderful day we had - with impromptu short wee plays. Everyone did so well and had lots of fun too.
We started to look at our new song choices and dance moves for 2025 - very exciting!

Mini scripts will be all ready for next MT - 23/02/25 - we endeavour to make this end of show even more spectacular than what we created in 2024.

Back to our arts n crafts - some of us started some new 5 Diamond projects and others enjoyed word finds & colouring in.
Tomorrow is Musical Theatre !

Great to be back singing again today.
We started on our breathing exercises to help expand our lungs, so we can sing louder and longer and protect our vocal cords too.
Looking forward to the next performance in November.

We all look a tad tired in these pics lol - some clients were on their 3 rd tour this weekend too.

What do we offer at Able Tours?

We are a very small, tour company here in Christchurch, who offer personal service to each and every one of our lovely clients. We deeply care about their well being, safety and truly make sure they are having a fantastic, exciting, fun time when they travel with us! We like to try new things and see new places - at times pushing us out of our comfort zones! We offer Saturday, Sunday Tours and the odd Monday tour, plus longer tours through out NZ - plus International when it is safe again to travel out of NZ.
