You need to slow the drying process down & allow the concrete to cure enabling it to gain strength & limit cracking. Overhead power lines always need to be taken into consideration even if you are doing small works on your own home. You must not be within 4m of lines however if you need to be closer you can obtain a dispensation to be within 1m. Orion have a ‘close approach’ form on their website which we completed to receive our clearance.
