Being New Zealand’s largest gravity-fed dam, you’ll visit the key areas of the dam, hear about the history of it’s construction, how it works, and marvel at it’s immense size and scale. Guided by locals, each with their own area of expertise, this tour is suitable for families, and anyone that is able to walk for 1.5 hours.

We are excited to announce the launch of Clyde Dam Tours. We are open for business!
For a once in a lifetime experience, Clyde Dam Tours will take you on a tour in and around Clyde Dam. Being New Zealand’s largest gravity-fed dam, you’ll visit the key areas of the dam, hear about the history of it’s construction, how it works, and marvel at it’s immense size and scale. Guided by locals, each with their own area of expertise, your tour will be personal with no more than 10 people. This tour is suitable for families, and anyone that is able to walk for 1.5 hours.
Tours are scheduled:
Monday - Thursdays from 4.30pm
Saturday and Sundays all day and evenings.

Our Saturday 10am tour only has a few places left, so get in touch to book your place.
