For an extra layer of security while travelling make sure to register with SafeTravel before your next trip.

SafeTravel is the official registration facility for New Zealanders travelling or living overseas. If you register with them, they can relay important information and account for your safety and well-being, as part of New Zealand's consular response to an overseas emergency.

Registration is free, the process is easy to follow and all New Zealand citizens and their families are entitled to sign up.

Indonesia has introduced a health declaration, called the Satu Sehat Health Pass, which is now required for all travellers. Upon completing the form a QR code will be generated which must be displayed on arrival.

The Satu Sehat Health Pass can be completed prior to departure by visiting: https://sshp.kemkes.go.id/

Travellers can also complete the Satu Sehat Health Pass on arrival, but this will delay your arrival process.

Air New Zealand will be completing some upgrades for its Airpoints Loyalty platform this week, and as such there will be an outage from 10:30am, 7 August to 5:30pm, 8 August.

During this period you'll still be able to sign in and view your boarding pass, but some Airpoints pages will be unavailable.

REMINDER for international travellers arriving into Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown Airports, now can complete the digital declaration instead of a paper passenger arrival card before travelling to New Zealand. This aims to help passengers move more efficiently through the airport. www.travellerdeclaration.govt.nz

From late August travellers arriving into Auckland will be able to complete the digital declaration. (currently they still fill in a manual paper arrival card)

Travellers are not currently required to complete a New Zealand Traveller Declaration. Travellers arriving at selected New Zealand international airports will be able to complete an online declaration from July 2023.
