Wow Santa paid us a visit here at the motel before he went to meet everyone at the Lions Christmas Dinner today. His only comment before he went was - its a bit too hot for this suit here in Central - but it beats peeling spuds!

Congratulations to Mt Difficulty Wines, Clyde Historic Precinct and the Otago Central Rail Trail on being named in the AA's top 101 Must-dos for Kiwis. Fantastic to see three great attractions in our area being recognised this way. Shotover Jet, Tekapo Springs, the Earnslaw and Fiordland are right up there too. Why not check them all out for yourself?

Fabulous week last week for the Cromwell Ladies golf tournament. The new course layout proved a challenge for some. Well done to the Mataura teams - last and third last in the golf but they had the most fun
