📸Holiday photos are precious - especially when you go on a once-in-a-lifetime trip. So it's worthwhile thinking about the safest way to store your photos until you get home. Here are my top tips: 1️⃣ Use WiFi daily while you are away,to upload your photos to an online storage space such as Google Drive or Dropbox. (Then if you lose your phone or camera you've only lost one days worth of photos) 2️⃣ If you are taking photos on your phone or tablet, set up your device to save the photos to the memory card. 3️⃣ If your device or camera cards get full, find a shop where they can download the images and save them to a USB drive. 4️⃣ Use multiple memory cards instead of just one. If all your photos are stored on one card and it fails... then you've lost them all. This week I spoke to some newlyweds who spent 5 weeks in Europe and got married in Venice. They told me the sad story of how her cellphone died 2 days before they flew home, which meant they lost all their trip photos. Their phone has been sent to a data retrieval specialist and I've got my fingers crossed for them that their precious memories can be recovered.
