Attention activity and sport providers in the Manawatū District! 📣

The NZCT Manawatū Active Communities Fund is here to help you support individuals and families in our community. Applications are now open and close on 26 February.

This Fund, established by Sport Manawatū and supported by NZCT, aims to remove financial barriers, making it easier for people to participate in your activities and programs.

🌟 What the Fund can cover:
✅ Activity-related costs for physically inactive individuals to get moving
✅ Equipment not provided by your organisation, school, or club
✅ Uniforms, clothing, or footwear
✅ Facility fees or event costs
✅ Access to one-on-one or small group coaching

This is a great opportunity to help more people engage with your programmes and foster a lifelong love of being active.

🟠Kids & Country🟢 Saturday 1st March

We are excited to have Heartland Cottage joining us at Kids & Country this year with their amazing menagerie of animals for the kids to come and see and enjoy. Come a long and check them out.

Heartland Cottage is an animal rescue rehabilitation center and a place for the community to retrain animals, find a love for learning and enjoy special animals. This is a unique space where the Disability community and general public can come to learn about sustainable farming practices and interact with the animals. Valais Blacknose sheep, Scottish Highland Cow, Kune Kune Pigs, Silky Chickens, and so many more await your visit. New Zealand's largest and longest-running Classic Motorcycle Racing Festival is back at Feilding's Manfeild circuit Chris Amon for 2025..
For over 45 years the New Zealand Classic Motorcycle Racing Register's annual 'Festival' race meeting has been the premier event for Classic and Post-Classic motorcycle racing in New Zealand.

With its unique 'open pits' set up the event has built a reputation for allowing visitors to not only see great bikes being raced hard on track, but also to get close up to the machines and riders between races.

What's more, with ample space for camping in the Manfeild showgrounds area, the 'Festival' allows competitors and visitors alike to 'Make a weekend of it' and camp onsite to be part of the atmosphere.

This year, as well as the usual Championship races, the event will play host to 10 special new New Zealand Classic TT Trophy Races where riders will compete for National Classic Titles.

Nowhere else will you see some of New Zealand's most successful riders and Champions such as Andrew Stroud and Dennis Charlotte compete in the morning on a vintage bike from the 1920's, and the same day take to the track on a Britten or a Macintosh Suzuki!

The perfect day trip or overnight destination for car or bike clubs - or just a bunch of mates.

The Manfeild circuit has LOADS of parking and there are great roads heading into the Manawatu from all directions North, South, East and West. We welcome other vehicle enthusiasts to bring their passion for cars, bikes, traction engines - whatever - and make the most of a day or two out enjoying the vehicles we all love.
