Winter trophy hunt!

Epic week last week with a father and son team getting a couple of old mature Fallow Bucks and a nice Red Stag for their efforts.

Thanks to Andrew for smashing a couple of days guiding on the Fallow Bucks while I was battling the lurgy 😷

It's not every trip you get to drop the hammer on a Free Range Chamois Buck 10.25" long and 10.5yrs old!

Well done to our great mate from over the ditch on anchoring this heavy horned old boy, it's going to make a heck of a full body mount!

Our first Stag hunt for the season and The Hunting Club Winner pulled off a great shot on this genuine wild Free Range Red Stag.

Our 2023 trophy season has been one to remember!

It's so hard to pick what photos to throw up on this post, but after 75 days hunting this season, we managed to shoot some truly epic genuine free-range trophies.

Every animal harvested this season came with its own memorable story, which our awesome clients and I will remember for years to come.

For me, guiding has allowed me to share my passion for the outdoors and help others achieve goals and lifelong memories.

Thank you to all of our supporters, and I look forward to more seasons with you all in the coming future.

Wrapped up the tahr rut with a great trip with our kiwi mates!

Out smarting our biggest bull of the season measuring a whisker off 14" and another nice bull at 12".

A great way to finish off an epic free-range season chasing trophies around hills!

Sometimes there's nothing like a bit of last minute pressure to get the job done!

Our good friend from over the ditch experienced tough weather, big hills and lots of pass up animals before getting to squeeze the trigger on this funky Fallow Buck and an absolute brute 13.5" Bull Tahr.

Public land Chamois rut!

Epic few days chasing these sure footed critters around the hills. Definitely picked the weather, just had to have the winter woolies!

Well done Tegan and Gary on pushing yourselves on a truly wild public land hunt and securing a nice Chamois Buck and Doe.

Fallow Buck or NZ Moose?

A bit of homework on this monster genuine free range Buck paid off after seeing him the week before in thick scrub country.

1st day, Buck, as you don't let these ones walk away.

Douglas score 244 1/8 total after having 5 5/8 over spread penalty.
