Today we commemorate ANZAC Day, and next year, 25 April 2025 will mark the 110th anniversary of our brave ANZAC troops landing on the shores of Gallipoli in Turkey.

Each year, On The Go organise dedicated group tours for family members and descendants of these heroes to attend the Dawn Service in Gallipoli, and to visit some of the battlefields and memorials in order to pay their respects. We have a number of options for you for 2025.

As a side note - I did one with OTG in 2005 - 20 years ago next year - was one of the best trips I have been on!

Whilst all of our ANZAC Day tours include attendance at the Dawn Service and visits to important sites in Gallipoli, you can also add guided sightseeing at Turkish highlights including Istanbul, Ephesus and Cappadocia. And it is possible to combine your trip with a visit to Egypt's ancient wonders too.

Had a site inspection and lunch at Plantation Island Resort today! Fantastic resort for families - 3* in 5* location! One great thing is most rooms sleep 5, 2 bedrooms sleep 6 so no need for separate rooms! Several dining options, buffet and a-la-carte and kids 11 years and under eat free from the buffet.

I'm having a quick getaway in Fiji this week staying at the gorgeous Lomani Island Resort! This resort is amazing, can hardly fault it, and the sun has come out for us today thankfully! It's adults only though so have to do what we have done and leave the kids at home!
