The Geminids meteor shower originates from the debris trail of comet 3200 Phaethon, every December it puts on a show. As the particles enter the Earth's atmosphere causing fricton they heat up and combust creating the bright streaks - Meteors.☄️🔥☄️

Star Party time✨️ Eyes on the skies!!!!! We are keeping a close eye on the cloud cover in the basin today while we pack up scopes and equipment. Any updates, will be posted on our page throughout the day. It will be cold so jackets, hats, gloves are a must. Red light torches will be provided We are ready & excited to see you all 😍
