We kiwis, can organise your fly fishing adventures. Most of time free of charge , we can arrange your transport,accommodation, meals.
No need to pay heavy commissions to organisations or the middle man who just make profit on your back.
Hosts just host and generally pay for their own guide.
They don’t spend time on the river with you.

We know our rivers better than anyone, can book flights, accommodation and organise meals.

The calendar won’t have enough days. Beware of the expensive middle man… us Kiwis can do it all for you. Guiding of course , but we also can deal with accommodation, meals, transportation… and most of the time are happy to do it free of charge. Pay for your angling experience , not some heavy commissions financing those trying to fly under the radar. Trust in your kiwis guides for a real Kiwi angling experience.

Fly Fish New Zealand Ltd is on the move.
For the last 21 seasons I had the great privilege to live in North Canterbury, in the beautiful village of Hanmer Springs.

From the next season 2024/25 our operation will share its time between the North Canterbury region, the West Coast but also Central Otago/Otago.

It will allow our clients to discover new waters and so many secret spots that I have been fishing for so many years.
We already take reservations for both parts of the amazing South Island and really the choice is yours.

Please do not delay to contact me as the calendar is filling up.

Join me, Serge A Bonnafoux also known as the sight fishing expert for an amazing fly fishing adventure where you will be able to stalk the big brown trout and rainbows of New Zealand and most possibly fish for them . I do not hold the rod and don't strike for you . But I do the rest.

I have been a member of the NZPFGA for as long as I have been guiding and have a public liability insurance, a comprehensive car insurance (not a rental car), use the Association concession for the days spent on the DOC estate.
I specialise in all inclusive trips from a day to two weeks .
