Warbirds Over Wanaka this weekend marks a legacy of our company founder, the late Sir Tim Wallis. Founded in 1988, Tim’s passion for Warbirds and aviation transformed into a biennial spectacle, captivating aircraft enthusiasts worldwide. From humble beginnings, the event has grown to be the Southern Hemisphere’s largest Warbirds Airshow, drawing over 50,000 attendees each year. As we approach the 36th year, we’re proud to see the continuation of Tim’s dream.

One year today - our thoughts are with those affected by this natural disaster . We have such admiration not only for the strength of those caught up in the devastation but also for all professionals and volunteers who rose to the challenges of Cyclone Gabrielle and its aftermath. Sheer courage and determination saw many deserving of sincere acknowledgement and so too we understand so many still need our support and encoragement. This will not be forgotten.

What an awesome effort by Unison & HB Rugby in arranging these rugby superstars Ruby Tui (Black Ferns) and Dan Carter (retired All Black) along with the Woman’s World Cup Trophy itself (no not you Geoff Keighley the cup itself 😊) to visit our local community schools for a shot of positive inspiration following Cyclone Gabrielle and its aftermath. Tui and Dan, thank you so much for making yourselves available for such. It was a pleasure to support this cause and fly you guys around 👊Kia Kaha HB
