Our Hastings Meatball Festival is rolling into town on Friday, March 14, bringing celebrity chefs Peter Gordon & Ben Bayly, 25+ vendors, and a whole lot of flavour! 🍖🌿

Highlights:
🌟 Peter Gordon teams up with EIT students to serve wagyu beef meatballs with kawakawa salsa verde
🌟 Ben Bayly crafts an Angus beef meatball using local Matangi beef

Welcome to Hastings Ben!

It’s a beautiful morning at the Farmers Market and an absolute pleasure to chat to one of New Zealand’s leading chefs about our world class produce. Ben Bayly (Ahi, Auckland, Little Aosta, Arrowtown) is here in Hawke’s Bay filming for his television programme NZ Food Story and I was very proud to hear him speak so highly of our wonderful producers and growers. Ben will be back on Friday March 14 to cook with Matangi at the Hastings Meatball Festival and the F.A.W.C! Long Lunch on the Saturday.
