How lucky are we to have so many fantastic bike tracks around us. The link pathway runs right past the front door and is 18km to each Picton or Havelock. Anakiwa is a quick 5km bike away and then you have the Queen Charlotte track as well. Living in Paradise. Labour weekend is still available so why not come and explore for yourself. You never know could be a good deal to be had too if you ask nicely 😊

Recovery teams have been out on the water, and in the air, on Monday to understand the full extent of the damage.

Looking down Grove Arm towards the grove Tirimoana and Anakiwa. It’s hard to believe the destruction served up to the Sounds and Nelson Tasman region this last week. Thankfully Bob’s Bach hasn’t suffered any of the carnage out there just the roads into it are affected once again. Thoughts are with all those affected

Not much of an outside day today but a stunning spot to watch the weather and listen to the thunder rolling around the hills. Didn’t even get enough of a break in the weather to pick all the persimmons but we got some canvases hung and made use of the awesome kitchen to do some baking. Going to need everyone’s amazing recipes that use persimmons please. Persimmon and Feijoa crumble for dessert tonight
