Good morning all… a great way to start the day.
Wilsonbayfarm, garden yards. A few generations ago Emily Foote would walk the bridle track out to her vegetable garden. The bridle track was dug by pick and shovel during the depression . The trek from the homestead was bush clad, steep, and rugged. This was on the Northern side of the farm, making the most of longer sunshine hours during the winter. That’s one dedicated lady!

Is it La Niña, or El Nina, or just plain ‘la- bum- ba? I’m guessing this is the result of climate change.. today it’s blowing like the proverbial.. yesterday we had over 3 inches of rain. The weather pattern is ‘up the whop…
If only bbqs could talk, the stories this one would tell., too many rums, kids screaming down the hill on bikes, and the occasional drunken pig scratching it’s backside on the bbq seat! 😂😂 fun times!!❤️

Ok I must confess, not everyday is perfect out here in the Pelorus.. but even on a sh*tty day it’s still pretty great! Take care in these mad conditions everyone. Ps there goes the chimney!!
Another beautiful day out on the water.. we had a quick visit from a pod of dolphins, and caught our quota of cod for tea.. life’s sweet..
