Mt Olympus was the jewel in our crown yesterday! What a fun day we all had trying our hand at curling 🥌🥌🥌 high in the mountains on a frozen tarn. Ski or 🚁 in, catering laid on for us and bluebird skies. What a wonderful effort !

The infamous Mt Olympus Curling event is on Saturday 12th August. Curling at 1800 m in the Southern Alps overlooking Lake Coleridge! You can experience this wonderful day, you don't need any Curling experience and even better you don't have to ski! A helicopter will be offering rides from the Bottom Hut for $160 per person. Great to see Discovery Jet so busy. . . . . . but no wonder, it’s hard to beat a spine chilling, exhilarating skim up the Rakaia. If you don’t want to walk the whole Rakaia Gorge walkway then consider a jet boat drop off and a walk back but a word of warning . . . . . . bookings are tight so plan ahead!
