Food, Fashion and Fundraising: ME RESPITE announces Charity Dinner to support ME/CFS Community.
This special evening is dedicated to increasing awareness and raising funds for the ME/CFS (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) community and those with related illnesses, including Fibromyalgia (FM) and Long Covid (LC).
Guests will enjoy an exciting lineup of activities, including music, dancing, a delicious dinner and dessert, a raffle, live and silent auctions, and a spectacular fashion show. Fabulous local models will showcase some of the latest designer clothing from The Charity Boutique in Rices Mall, Howick.

We hope everyone is enjoying the large knitted Xmas Tree lit up, in the entrance of the War Memorial Building. This was the effort of many local knitters, over hundreds of hours, and stitched together over several days by a couple of wonderful helpers.

James Mason, Gordon Symons, Chloe Mackey and Darren Stuck will scale the inside of New Zealand’s tallest building while decked out in 25kg of gear, in next year’s annual Firefighter Sky Tower Challenge on 24 May. They are raising money for Leukaemia and Blood Cancer New Zealand.
It is inspiring seeing locals doing so much for the betterment of others.
