Here is a few images of Blades that I have been working on over the last year in between bouts of illness. Image 1 is of a San mai Damascus bladed spiral fluted dagger. Image 2 and 3 are of a Large Bowie and pouch with laser etching that I have burned into the blade. I mage 4 is of my rendition of a Fairbairn Sykes knife with a Purple heartwood handle. Image 5 is of my rendition of a Kukri in 128 layered Damascus steel with a Water buffalo horn handle.. All of these knives and a lot of others I will be showing and are for sale at the Greerton Antique Arms fair show on Saturday and Sunday of this weekend. Starting time 0930.

I have not posted for a while, Bad health and busy in other areas of my life. I had the pleasure of a group for my knifemaking course yesterday and I managed to photograph their efforts. I am normally flat tack and don't have the time during the course.

The large knife is for a DOC ranger who needed a "bush whacker" the knife is from VG10 San mai Damascus steel, The handle is Jigged Buffalo horn. The smaller knife is from D@ (k110) steel with a Red Deer crown hidden tang construction. I did not have the time to photograph the pouches made for them. Superb effort from the lads. Amazing what you can achieve in 8 hours.,

Another couple of images of the blades made by my clients last week. Great effort all round and three lovely blades.

It has been a long time since I last posted, so here goes. another brilliant day with three customers making their knives. Three pig/dagger blades all were 128 layered Damascus steel. Two are Deer antlered handle the other is Charcoal Diamond wood.
The image shown is about half way through the journey of my clients. The grinds are in the handles and guards fitted. A lot of hand sanding and another etch of the blades to be done.
I will be at the Greerton Antique arms fair on Saturday and Sunday, Come along and see my display of blades for sale and perhaps book a days knifemaking with me. See you there.
