We've completed some significant upgrades at Akomoana over the last 18 months, with more yet to make over the winter. The house is looking sharper and more comfortable, plus we added a new, 7-seat vehicle in later 2021. These improvements, the general cost increases and the rapid increase in diesel costs for heating and hot water, mean that, regrettably, we've had to increase our daily rate by 8.6% to $250. Despite this, we believe that Akomoana is a great value holiday house: it is very comfortable, enjoys all-day sun, has amazing, ever-changing sea views, is a 2 mins amble to the very peaceful and safe Butterfields Beach, is close to Oban township and comes with a reliable and comfortable car for shopping and the inevitable wet days.
