The River Roady

We are offering a trip up the Whanganui River Road to the historical village of Jerusalem, via Matahiwi tea rooms. On arrival you will get guided tour with a local guide to the Sisters of Compassion Convent and St Josephs Church, followed by brief bush walk to visit home of the Commune that James K Baxter founded, including sighting of his final resting place. A picnic lunch is optional while you
