We're excited to share that, after over a year since a fire destroyed our local Kaihu GAS station it is now officially open again! If you're in the area, stop by and say hello to the wonderful Sukhmeet Singh and Manjeet Kaur, who have been such a positive part of our community. They’ve got all your essential needs covered—and yes, they even have a coffee machine! ☕️🙌

Bring your own bedding and cooking gear and enjoy an authentic kiwi camping experience in our fabulous Dwights Coastline Tents. Measuring 15feet by 12feet this large tent has 2 large separate rooms and will comfortably sleep up to 5 people. There is also a large awning in front of the tent so you can relax in the fresh air and sunshine. We provide the tent, up to 5 airbeds and a large wooden picnic table outside. Ideal for new campers, or for seasoned campers who don't want the hassle of putting their tent up and down in the hot sun. Labour Weekend vibes are in full swing at the Park! The weather has been mostly pleasant, with just a few heavy showers passing through, but it looks to be improving! Our guests are having a great time playing cards, relaxing with family and friends, and whipping up some delicious dinners. Meanwhile, the kids are loving the playground and flying fox, and a few adventurous ones even took a dip in the river! 💦 Enjoying every moment!

What an amazing day at the park this week! Students, teachers, and parents from our local school districts teamed up with Northland Regional Council and the Enviroschool team for a fantastic learning experience.
Exploring river health and learning to measure flow and volume gave students practical skills that deepen their understanding of the environment, they also delved into the whakapapa of water and had fun identifying aquatic bugs!
Great job, everyone! 🌊🌿
