Hosted by Te Rūnanga o Arowhenua, the festival takes place on the Takapō lakeshore during the Matariki public holiday on Friday 28 June.
🎤🎸🎶This year’s Matariki Mackenzie Festival features a very special evening concert featuring the legendary sounds of Ardijah, alongside well-known Christchurch reggae-roots group 1 Drop Nation and upcoming artist, Hone Music NZ 🎶 (The evening concert is R13 and alcohol free.)
During the day, the festival will feature various wānanga/workshops, plenty of live music, a guided walk, and much more.
