Every year we always reflect on what is fab and what we can improve on. Today we are getting our sleeper steps in, these will lead you up to the tree swing and table. Kitchenette fridge is fixed and runs so much colder, Epoxy finish completed on the bench top, new lights in Yurt and around the bath and basin. Can’t wait to open again. I would love to do a wedding ceremony down here Marryon Stewart Celebrant

Slowly getting Yurt ready for opening for the new season next month. New linen, repaired gas fridge, beautiful glass epoxy on kitchen bench, new touch bedside lights (to arrive), sleeper steps being build up to table and swing seat. Still the same amazing incredible place. We open 12th October.

And that’s a wrap for Season 4 of Puriri Yurt. Thank you to all our fabulous guests who tolerated the numerous weather events we had this summer. While we have endured an extremely wet November I couldn’t be more grateful to our fabulous guests who treated their stay at Puriri Yurt as an adventure. Canopy Camping where no matter the weather you are going to have a wonderful time and all want to come back. ❤️

Flooding, slips and road closures have marked the wettest November in Northland, since records began in 1943.

We welcome the break, closing Puriri Yurt 🛖 over winter but only so that it gives us time to create and provide even more exciting changes. Can you improve on perfection you ask?
