We are off to 'A Curated Christmas' in Birkenhead on thursday. We will be getting a wonderful look at Christmas and flowers, wreaths, table settings and are all really looking forward to it.
Lunch at Millys in Millwater first and then head out to Birkenhead for a looksie and nibbles.

Hi folks, Lynette here.
Peter and I have just returned from our Sunshine Coast and Brisbane trip. We all had such fabulous weather and were away for ten nights and saw so much in that time. Our clients even got time to spend with their families that live in Brisbane. along with ourselves. A real bonus.
Accommodation is at a premium these days so we have to book early, and right now are taking expressions of interest for our next trip in August 2025.
Below is the two and three bedroom apartment's I have looked at for our next trip away to the Sunshine Coast. Why not bring some friends or your family, Peter does the driving and we plan a lovely getaway firstly to the Sunshine Coast for 5 nights visiting Noosa, Eumundi Markets, Maleny and Montville in the Hinterlands, the Zoo for those who wish to go, you get time to relax and do shopping and soak up the sunshine, we go on a Cruise for 1.5hrs, eat lots of Prawns, go to nice Restaurants and get to have fun. Of course we cant control the weather but after all the wind and rain we had in NZ it was so good to get away to the lovely temperatures in the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane.
Brisbane is also great to go to, Tamberine Mountain, the Botanic Gardens, a river cruise, some shopping etc.
Imagine sitting on a deck of one of the apartments, cooking a bbq and just looking at that view. Bliss.
We are looking at approx 8 nights away next time.

For all those going to the Bay of Plenty Garden and Art Festival in November I have received our booklets, maps and tickets today.
We have just looked at the booket, so much stunning artwork and so many gardens to explore. You will be given the booklet and map and your three day pass once you start on the trip.
I am about to close off for this now as I have sent the accomodation list thru to the hotel in Tauranga this morning. We do have one seat left which we may not fill which is fine but if this is to be filled it needs to be done this week at the very latest.

Three Gables is a medium size informal country garden with an emphasis on colour. There is a woodland area as well as a large lawn framed by a cottage garden. A large red bougainvillea frames the front of the house with a shaded deck area to one side. This is topped off with an exquisite view of the Mount. The studio which Don built is where you can find Sue’s hand-made soap and jewellery. This is a delightful spot to visit! 😍

If you have never covered up a body on a shift, you shouldn’t be deciding how much Ambulance Officers make.
If you have never watched a person suffocate to death from their own blood or sputum, you shouldn’t be deciding how much Ambulance Officers make.
If you have never been punched and kicked for trying to assess your patient, you shouldn’t be deciding how much Ambulance Officers make.
If you have never had someone beg you to not let them die, or to let them die, you shouldn’t be deciding how much Ambulance Officers make.
If you've never had to look into a loved one's eyes or hold them while they crumble when you tell them of the death of their child, mother, father, sister, aunt, gran, papa... you shouldn't be deciding how much Ambulance Officers make.
If you have never told your family your shift was “fine” to spare them from what you saw that day, you shouldn’t be deciding how much Ambulance Officers make.
If you’ve never felt ribs breaking from doing CPR on someone’s family member, you shouldn’t be deciding how much Ambulance Officers make.
For years, Ambulance Officers have been underpaid and undervalued, and no one seemed to care. Now that healthcare is on the brink of collapse, everyone is concerned.Ambulance Officers are leaving the profession at rapid rates.
Perhaps it’s from the years of getting little if any raises and barely being able to pay bills.
Maybe it’s because Ambulance Officers are asked to do more and more with less.
Maybe it’s from the terrible staffing ratios, lack of access to qualifications, or reduction in qualified personnel. The reasons are honestly endless.
Let’s start caring about Ambulance Officers' retention, training, fair wages, safe staffing, etc.Let’s not get to the point where you need an Ambulance, and there isn’t one to spare.
Copied because because our Ambulance Officers deserve better, and if we don’t raise awareness now, we may face a future where there are no ambos left to respond when we need them most. Let’s support those who save lives every day.

Hi folks just letting you know that Pete and I are away with clients right now, in the most gorgeous sunshine with lovely clients.
Please feel free to contact us for prebooking of taxis even up to 2025. We have already started to get bookings up until Jan 25.
We not only do taxi runs, we are also a travel business taking clients on trips inbound and outbound as well as to shows, concerts, day outings etc. Chatham Islands, Australia, NZ.
Pete also works as a consultant training people on Project Management.
Hence this, it is good to prebook and we will endeavour to help you out where possible.
One day we will work just on travel as well as taxi and sober driving services in our area and beyond as we do now.
Fully compliant driver with passenger service licence and a 12 seater van (12 includes driver) please note you have to have this with taxi service or it is illegal.

What can I see from my balcony in the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Bribie Island, the Hinterlands and Glass House Mountains standing tall and amazing, sunshine, people swimming, walking and enjoying the lifestyle.
We are coming back again same time next year and have just 10 spaces available. Who knows we may just do another trip next March.
Off to Mooloolaba today for a seafood cruise, plenty of time to hit the shops in Mooloolaba, Kings Beach Moffit Beach and its just like summer here and its only day 1, 9 nights of fun still ahead. Life is good and great to get away from the cold wind and rain.. Yippee.

Lunch at Te Arai Golf links anyone. Plan and book ahead with Te Arai and Nor East Excursions. Te Arai for your lunch booking and with Pete for taxi service or sober driving.
It was such a nice day out there today for Petes bday. So relaxing and to top it off you get to play on the putting green if you wish to, which is free if you have lunch out there. Pickups drop offs from Mangawhai. We can take11 in our passenger service van.
