Happy Friday from the School of Sport! A reminder that the FIBA Basketball World Cup begins today Friday the 25th of August!

Our New Zealand Tall Blacks are getting ready for this massive event and will be taking on the USA, Jordan and Greece in the first round!

In support of the Tall Blacks the School of Sport will be giving away a Basketball New Zealand shirt per game that the Tall Blacks play!

We will post on Sunday for the first game vs USA and all you have to do is comment on that post with the correct final score of the game to be in the draw to win!

FIBA World Cup Giveaway with the School of Sport!
The basketball world cup begins this Friday the 25th of August!

Our New Zealand Tall Blacks are getting ready for this massive event and will be taking on the USA, Jordan and Greece in the first round!

In support of the Tall Blacks the School of Sport will be giving away a shirt per game that the Tall Blacks play.

We will post on game day/prior to game day and all you have to do is comment with the correct final score of the game to be in the draw to win!

The FIBA World Cup 2023, set to take place from 25 August to 10 September, will see New Zealand facing the United States, Greece and Jordan in the Group Phase in the Philippines capital city of Manila. All games will be shown free to air on TVNZ.

She is our School’s Administrator Extraordinaire ☺️ … taking care of you with everything outside the classroom - from making sure you’re enrolled in the right courses, ensuring your grades are published and your qualifications ordered among a million other things including keeping your lecturing team honest 😅 she’s your lady!
